error:password empty

I always encounter the same error while i pill or push into the bit using the sourcetree. The dialogue box emerges every time asking for the password,even if i type it correct it doesn't move on. The task gets cancelled every time,I am so much frustrated with this.

Are you using Windows, if so then try to remove the password file as mentioned in below discussion?

As far as I understand there's no need to run any command, you just delete this file:

C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree\passwd

C:\Users\PedroMota\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree -> delete passwd file
