can't handle 'git log' failed with code -1:'launch path not accessible

I see the error "

'git log' failed with code -1:'launch path not accessible

"

so I assume this is the problem I encountered b/c I did a brew update.

I can't implement it b/c source tree is stuck in a loop displaying the alert error, each time I click on OK, the alert is shown again and I can't access the menu.

I can't even quit source tree and I have to use force quit on max
