Why all files are unstaged?

I've done a lot delete and rebase to clean up this project, now ended up as shown blow. Everything looks good now, but why all my files are unstaged? Try to stage file has no effect.

Your files are not unstaged (although I can see why you'd think that). You've got your filter set to show ALL files, and for whatever reason, SourceTree lists the clean files in the unstaged list (really, they are neither staged nor unstaged, but if you want to see them, they have to go somewhere).

Switch your filter from "All files,..." to "Pending files,..." and you should be good.

This works. Was wondering why it's different from I used to see, :+)
