What is a Code 10 error?

I'm adding an exisiting local GitLab repo located on a networked drive to SourceTree but I'm unable to see the history and recieve the following errors:

'git log' failed with code 10:

'git status' failed with code 10:

What is an Error Code 10?

Setup:
MacOS 13.3.1
SourceTree 4.2.2
Embeded Git 2.39.1 - using this.
System Git 2.39.2

Hello, In my case the problem was that on my system git was at 2.21, but the version on my virtual machine was 1.x

I got the same issue, I can't commit anymore
