Sourcetree is slow when using VPN

Hi,

When I use SourceTree on VPN, SourceTree loads and responds to any actions very slow. For example, when I merged from the master branch to an feature branch on Friday, something that was supposed to take a minute to do, it took me 20 minutes. When I use SourceTree in the office, SourceTree behaves normally. Note that VPN is not used in the office.

I was wondering if any of you have encountered this issue before and know any causes and/or fixes?

Just to let you know, this issue has been resolved. The .gitconfig file was saved on a network drive which caused this issue. The .gitconfig file is now saved on a local drive.
