SourceTree and git:// urls

In latest SourceTree (1.5.3) I'm trying to Add a Repository using a git:// url (like git:// and it doesn't work. I have to find an http(s) url (which doesn't always exist) for SourceTree to be able to use (like that isn't even hosted in the same place).

I just fed 'git://' in to SourceTree 1.5.3 and it cloned just fine.

SourceTree just passes the URL down to git anyway - what version of Git are you using, the internal version or your system Git?

It turns out that the firewall blocks the git port.

Sorry for the false alarm.
