SourceTree Terminal Commands Do Not Work

I upgraded sourcetree to (Windows 10) and now when I open a terminal and attempt to run commands, nothing happens. For example, on a previous version I could open terminal and run an npm command, and it would execute. But now nothing happens, and it just writes another cursor line.

I typed help, and the GNU bash help was printed. Do I need to do anything special to run commands in the terminal now?
