I have "Pending files" selected

New file is not under gitignore

Running git status shows the new file

Hi Archie,are you performing the changes on your local repository or on the remote? Note that if you're making them in your remote, it will take some time to be displayed in SourceTree (the time it takes will depend on what you have at Accounts > General).

I also tried creating a new file on my local repository and, although it should have shown up immediately in SourceTree, it didn't. I then cloned the repository to SourceTree again and after creating new files or making some modifications, the changes appeared instantly. Can you try re-cloning the repo and let me know if it worked for you?
