Pushing to remote - fatal: unable to access 'https://bitbucket.org/xx.git' : Login denied

Hi Sourcetree Team,

I am unable to push to my remote with proxy setup. I have added following to my .gitconfig

[https]
                proxy = http://username:password=@proxyserver:port
[http]
                proxy = http://username:password=@proxyserver:port

Following is the error I am getting

Pushing to https://xxx@bitbucket.org/xxx.git fatal: unable to access 'https://bitbucket.org/xxx.git/': Login denied

I get same error when I try to push through terminal in Mac.

Kindly assist for this matter. Do I need to do any other setup?

OS version : macOS Catalina, 10.15.3
