We are in the process of moving from an old TFS version to Azure DevOps, both on Premises. I am able to clone and push from Source Tree, but I am not able to add a remote account for extended integration needed to be able to do pull requests from inside SourceTree.
I have created a PAT inside the Azure DevOps instance but when attempting to use it to create a Hosting Account I get the error "Failed to check login for user [My user name] API resource location [guid] is not registered on https://[host name for azure devops server]/Collection.
Host
Hosting Service: Azure DevOps
Host Url: https://[host name for our azure devops server]/Collection
Preferred Protocol: HTTPS
Credentials
Authentication: Person Access Token (this is the only option)
Username: [blank] (can't be editied)
I click the "Refresh Personal Access Token" button and then enter my user name and the PAT in place of my password, click "OK" and get the error described above.
What am I doing wrong?
