Our IT-department tried to install SourceTree in their citrix environment. Installation at first sight looked OK. However on second sight they concluded SourceTree is not suitable for their citrix environment. I do not know the reasons for making this conclusion. So my questions are:
- Can SourceTree be deployed on Windows7 running within Citrix?
- Are there certain restrictions in running SourceTree from Windows7 running within Citrix?
Hi Fan,
We have an update for Windows that centers on Enterprise deployment (managed environments, additional registration options, pre-configured settings) which might improve their outlook.
That said, I'll the Windows folks to see if they are aware of anything specific to Citrix.

We aren't aware of any issues but it's also not a commonly tested environment for us. Please let us know via a ticket if there specific issues they have. Thanks!

I'm still in the process of formulating the problem my IT department encountered. They are very occupied with other stuff. As soon as I know I will post the info.
Thanks in advance

The problem was not Citrix related and also not WIndows7. It is more Windows server 2016 Terminal Services (eventually combined with citrix).

I got the deatisl from my IT department and created a new question: "Is it possible to install Source Tree on a share location in RDS Windows 2016?"
