Hi,
I'm currently using
open -a /Applications/SourceTree.app .
to open the SourceTree from the terminal.
The probelm with it is that it always prompts me to Create Bookmark for the current (git) repo (even though it already exists).
Additionally, it opens the Bookmarks window too.
What I want is to just see the window with the current repo info.
What's the best way of opening it from the terminal?
Cheers,
Dmytrii. /@dnagir
SourceTree 1.3 provides its own command-line tool 'stree' (as well as a truck load of other new stuff & major performance improvements). There's information on how to obtain the beta version here: http://www.sourcetreeapp.com/2011/12/29/sourcetree-1-3-beta-3-released/. Once you have it, you can use the menu option SourceTree > Install Command Line Tools
It's technically a beta, but actually it's really stable - we're really close to release now.
Thanks a lot. I'll see maybe I'll use Beta or just wait for the release.
Cheers.
