How to search file changes in current branch only in sourcetree

Martin Wunderlich June 27, 2016

Hi,

When I use the full text search to look for changes in a file ("File Changes" search), it seems this search is carried out across all branches. How can I limit the search to the current branch only?

(using SourceTree 2.3.1)

Thanks.

Cheers,

Martin

The search tool in SourceTree is pretty basic. If it isn't providing you what you need, you might also consider trying "Log Selected..."

If you know which file contains the changes you're looking for, you can right-click it and "log selected", and you'll get a window with changes to the selected file by commit (most recent at the top).
