How do I uninstall Mercurial from SourceTree?

riturajshukla September 25, 2018

In my pull request there is indentation error. My code is not aligned properly in the pull request though it is fine in the text editor. I looked for help and got to know that uninstalling Mercurial will work. But I am lost after this.

Can someone tell how to proceed after this? I need the solution ASAP!

There is no mechanism in the app to uninstall Mercurial, but you can close Sourcetree and then delete %localappdata%/Atlassian/Sourcetree/hg_local folder.

Re-starting Sourcetree should prompt you about the missing Mercurial and one option will be to say you don't want to use Mercurial
