How can i add an ignored file back to the repository?

Edited

Hi,

I am new to Git Methodology. I was trying to ignore some of teh files from Source Tree. Selected particular file (with one extension .CBL) and selected one entire directory by mistakenly. Now both are in ignored status.

Can you please help me to un-ignore the previously ignored files. Its not pushed to BitBucket. Still in my local repository only.

Thanks,

Jibin

Hi

The simplest way is to open and remove the incorrect patterns from the .gitignore file in your repository.

Thanks... Please refer this link also to get an idea about how can we do teh same for global repositories..
