This morning I sat at my desk, turned my monitors on and was welcomed by an error message I've been plagued with ever since the last update:
`Askpass.exe - Application Error. The application was unable to start correctly...`
I knew there would be multiple errors I'd have to dismiss, so I counted.
332.
I'm considering jumping ship. I've persevered with Sourcetree for years, but it's got to the point now where I'm losing time and I just can't see it ever being fixed, which is a real pity as the UI, in my opinion, is far superior to all the competitors' solutions.
I completely dropped back to console only. SourceTree is slow, buggy, wasting precious screen space, unwieldy in how the UI works, needs forever to startup or do just anything.
EDIT:
IMHO there are two options right now.
1) Open source the software and let the community fix this mess.
2) Let it die. Finally.
