I am getting TCP reconnect messages every few seconds with SourceTree open. Destination is the git repo I use for work, and the problem is there is a firewall rule that blocks an IP address for 10 minutes if there are too many requests from that IP within one minute. I'm not 100% sure this TCP reconnect is what is tripping the limit, but I'm trying to rule out all possible causes.
So, is there some way in SourceTree to disable the constant TCP reconnect?
I ran into what sounds like the same situation a few years back (have since moved the repo to github). I didn't have this amount of technical detail, so this should probably be reported at jira.atlassian.com.
I was able to workaround the issue to prevent getting blocked by the firewall by going into the options and disabling the automatic fetch.
