Cloning bitbucket repo

benjaminwalsh July 17, 2018

Hi there,

I login to bitbucket with google oauth. When using Source tree I'm trying to clone the existing repo to my local machine to edit.

I enter my repo

https://bitbucket.org/benjaminwalsh/shoppr

and it automatically fills out the local directory

\\PD-SVR17\Users\benw\My Documents\shoppr

and name

shoppr

But when I get the login prompt 'bitbucket login' Atlassian log in to your account... I cant use my credentials.

I've verified that my user name and password for Atlassian are correct here: https://id.atlassian.com/manage

There's no feedback as to why it wont log me in I just get stuck in a loop.

can you help please?

You can add the Bitbucket account in Sourcetree and we will use that to clone. Please give that a try.
