I am trying to install SourceTree 3.3.8 on a new computer, but running Windows 7 OS (don't ask...). I can not get passed the Registration Page. I only see buttons for "Bitbucket Server" and "Bitbucket". There is no button for "Cloud" like the install document shows. When I click on "Bitbucket", I am able to log into my Bitbucket account. I get to the web page that show I have logged in and can close the screen, however the "Next" button on the Registration page is still grey.
Any suggestions?
You're not the only one having these issues, scores of other people have them also.
Look for instance on https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Sourcetree-questions/Install-Sourcetree-3-Windows-without-Bitbucket-Cloud-or/qaq-p/925281
Best solution so far is just to try another git client.
For instance https://fork.dev/
Don't know if it'll work on Windows 7 though, but can't hurt to try, as you're getting nowhere with SourceTree as it is.
Thanks. After I posted it, some links came up on the side describing the same question from other people.
The solution I ended up doing: Install version 3.0.17.
For my purposes, this was good enough to track changes and push them.
