Basic Auth always password fail

App Passwords have all the permissions tick. 

still each time facing error "Authentication failed"

I am also facing this issue since yesterday. I tried giving app password. But, getting error

"We couldn't connect to Bitbucket with your (ravipetronia) credentials. Check your username and try the password again."

Any help on this ??

I deleted all saved credentials from the Authentication tab of tool -> option and click on fetch it asked for password. enter password of App Access (which is one time display only) and it works for me.
