I am using SourceTree on Windows 10 and recently have been having to contend with my system giving me this error, but it seems to mainly be when finishing feature and release branches.
bash: /dev/tty: No such device or address
error: failed to execute prompt script (exit code 1)
stty: 'standard input': Inappropriate ioctl for device
Any help on a solution would be greatly appreciated as Google isn't.
jamiesmachon, did you ever get past this issue? If not, someone else in the community was having a similar issue and resolved it by switching Sourcetree from using embedded to using system git. Maybe this solution will help you too?
