mandatory fields in events

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Team Calendars FAQ

is it possible to enforce the entry of "who" information in an event? This is a team calendar and knowing the author of an event may be important if questions arise about an event.

Yes, this is exactly what I am looking for.

My only problem is the fact, that in our installation of Confluence the "Who" field is not mandatory and I am wondering, how I can change this.
