libcurl.dll missing during pull

Ewin Barnett December 26, 2014

When I attempt to pull some source code, I get an error dialog that states:

git-remote-https.exe- Unable to Locate Component
This application has failed to start because libcurl.dll was not found...

Any suggestions?

Hi Ewin,

Can you make sure your Windows can find curl? I believe the environment variables are missing, so, could you have a look on this link and setup a global variable to curl? The link is to JAVA, but the concept is the same.

Also, make sure do you have libcurl.dll on your windows (I believe it is on system32 but you can use search button to find it).

Hope it helps.
