Outgoing Proxy Server and Confluence

My confluence server only has access to the internet via a proxy server. How do I configure the server to use a proxy. The link https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Configuring+Web+Proxy+Support+for+Confluence

appears to be missing some information on what file to change

Hey Richard,

Would you be able to clarify which information is missing in order to help you to use the server of Confluence with the proxy? In addition that, have you took a look at our Apache with Mod_Proxy documentation?
