Migrate from internal LDAP-authenticated instance to OnDemand

Larry Talley May 7, 2012

I would like to discuss migration from our internal, LDAP-authenticated instance to our OnDemand instance.

I don't believe we will be able to authenticate to our internal LDAP from outside our firewall, so, I recognize that users will have to create a new password.

But I do want to ensure that users who login with the same username can assume their history from a content perspective. Can you start educating us on the process, what we need to do to prepare, how we transfer existing content into the OnDemand instance, how we invite users to re-establish usernames, etc.

Per the Importing Data page, you need to format your user and group membership according to these directions and provide that via WebDAV to Support.
