Link macro corrupts url every time. Any way to enforce stricter behaviour?

The original url starts with

jdbc:oracle:thin:@((

Some occurrances of character : get replaced with %3

Sometimes character ( gets reeplaced with %28

Linking is important because the url itself is long and doesn't suit wiki display. I want users to be able to right-click and copy it. Will this be possible with Confluence?-

Finally figured this out. The link macros don't work at all for this scenario but using the html macro allows me to use <a href="my crazy url">.
