It seems as though the disable "preview" feature isn't working for this macro

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Attachments Macro

It seems to me through reading this documentation that I should be able to prevent inline previews from occurring on attachments that are availible through the "Attachments" macro. Perhaps I'm just misunderstanding what "preview" means but after unchecking the box for "Show previews", there is still a preview button availible that shows me what the document looks like.

In this case "Show preview" means a file preview.
