How to get users in a site by REST API

Jim, Pham
November 3, 2024

Hi,

I tested the new user management UI.

I have an organization with multiple sites. I added a user, test2@gmail.com, to site-a. However, when I try to retrieve users for site-b using the /rest/api/3/users/search endpoint, it still returns test2@gmail.com—even though this user does not belong to site-b.

Is there a way to retrieve only users belonging to site-b?

Thank you!

hello @Jim, Pham ,

the user account is only one no matter which site he/she belongs to. if you search using am email address using rest api, it will always return only one account. hope this helps

Vijay
