The Confluence space importer for OnDemand requires that spaces be from a Confluence installation of the same major version (e.g. 4.1.x). If your spaces are from older versions, you will need to upgrade them. The current version of Confluence in OnDemand can be found here.

The rough steps to upgrade them are as follows:

  1. Locally install an evaluation Confluence of the same version as your space data (e.g. 3.0.2 in your case).
  2. Import your spaces to it.
  3. Upgrade Confluence to the same version as OnDemand (currently 4.1).
  4. Export the spaces.
  5. Import them to OnDemand.

Hy Michael,

We are currently using version 4.1.6 and we are switching to OnDemand. How can we move our current spaces from one version to another?

Thanks,

Ioana
