I already have an organization with 150 users and we have been live for over 6 months. We use both Jira and Confluence.  I would like to go to Atlassian Access for SSO.  If I turn this on and get it configured to use my Azure AD, what happens to all my users and permissions that are already existing in my Organization.  Does it perform some type of mapping of my AD users to my existing users by email address?  Is there a document that explains this?

Hello @Paulo Nogueira,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

When using SAML, it will only change how they log in to your site. They will go to xxxxx.atlassian.net and after entering the email, they will be redirected to the SSO page to login.

Also, another difference is that admins will be able to manage their details such as email and full name.

For more details, please check the documentation below:

Regards,
Angélica
