How can I display the contents of another page in a pop up window (or similar)

Hello,

I'd like to display the contents of another page from the current page without embedding it.

So I don't want to use Include Page Excerpt as I don't want the content permanently displayed.

What I'd like to do is have a sentence that says something like:

To see info on how to do this, click here.

So when you click on the word 'here' a pop up window opens with the other page's contents displayed - this might be all of the page's content or part of it.

To close it I'm presuming you'd just click on the main page or a close button.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Mick,

with the Linking-Plugin (Makro link-window), you can open a link in a new Browser-Window: http://wiki.customware.net/repository/display/AtlassianPlugins/Linking+Plugin

Best regards

Thomas

Thomas,

Thanks, without seeing it, it's a bit difficult to know if that's the solution, but it sounds like the right idea.

We're about to upgrade to 4.2, so once that's done I'll ee if I can get your plugin downloaded and see if it's the solution.

Thanks.
