Expose contributors by entry

jeff scattini December 17, 2013

In Confluence,

Is there any way to expose contributors by the content they edit?

For example, if I have a bulleted list and each line is added by a different person, can I display which lines were added by which person?

  • Entry sentence - Contributor1
  • Entry sentence - Contributor2
  • Entry sentence - Contributor3
  • Entry sentence - Contributor2

I know I can display the contributors of the page through the "Contributors" plugin, but I need more granularity.

Thanks

Hi Jeff,

It sounds like you are lookging for a way to redline a document in Confluence. There is an old and commonly asked for feature request that you might want to add your voice to.

I don't think this functionality is going to be added. You may have to content yourself with the view page history.

Hi Daniel,

I was afraid that this might be the case.

Thanks for the link, I'll do just that.

Thanks!
