Looking at the landing page for Atlassian Access, it seems that the pricing model compared to the "usual" cloud pricing is different:

- licence fees are increased on a per user basis

- licence fee for all atlassian products is $30 per user per year instead of $ 120 per user per year in the "usual" cloud pricing

Is that correct, or did I get something wrong?

If correct, can licence fees that have already been paid be credited towards the Atlassian Access pricing model?

Thanks,

Martin

Hi! Martin

I 'm Manami from Atlassian.

Atlassian Access is billed by the total number of unique users accessing any of the Atlassian Access supported products (Jira, Confluence, Stride, Bitbucket, Jira Service Desk Agents, and coming soon... Trello).
No matter how many products or site a user has access to, they are a counted a single unique billable user.
Atlassian Access starts at $3/user/month for the first 250 users, users 251-1000 are $2 a users, and users 1001+ are $1.
There is no Starter tier for Atlassian Access, so if you have 1 user or 10 users, the cost is $30/month.
Ex. if you have 1,200 users the total cost per month is $2,450, the price calculation is:
  • 1 to 250 = $750 (250 x $3)
  • 251 to 1000 = $1,500 (750 x $2)
  • 1001 to 1200 = $200 (200 x $1)
Please use the online calculator tool www.Atlassian.com/enterprise/cloud/access to get an estimate.
Regarding the payment, Atlassian Access is billed separately from the Atlassian Cloud site that was used to start the trial of the Access product.
This means that the billing contact will receive a separate invoice when the service renewals.
We decided to split out the bill from a Cloud bill because of organization-wide nature of Atlassian Access.
Separate billing from your Cloud sites means you can use separate funds (budget) to pay for service.
Toward the end of the 30-day trial, the organization admin will be prompted to add in billing details to continue using Atlassian Access allowing for separate billing details for Atlassian Access and your other Atlassian products.
I hope this helps!

Hi Martin,

You should contact Atlassian directly, this is a community, not support.

Hope to see you here often!
