Deactivate a user

Russell_Dhooge June 10, 2014

I am the Confluence Admin and am logged in with elevated rights. I am not able to Deactivate or Delete users or acess their profile to make edits. I noticed when I look at the Confluence Admin page, in the left nav under Users&Security there are TWO Users selections and TWO Groups selections available. I also noticed that there is a separate System Administer profile when I view People, and my name no longer has (Administer) appended to it. Can you give me some advice on how to perform user deactivation and recover profile edit rights?

Thanks!

Russ

Hi Russell,

For that case, you will need to contact On-Demand support to regain your Admin right.

Thank you.

Hi Wayne,

I'm an On Demand user. I don't think that infomration apples to our implementation.
