Hello,

I am an adminstrator user and I would like to create in the Atlassian an organzation in order to do a domain verification.

According to the Atlassian cloud support, I should do following :

To create an organization:

  1. Go to the Administration area of your site.
  2. Click Organization, under 'Organizations & Security'.

When I am in the administration menu and search in the menu for Organizations & Security, I can only see Security. I am not able to select Organization. I can only see Security - not Organizations.

Can somebody explain me how I could see and select the option Organization?

Thank you,

Peter

Hi Peter,

If you can't see the option to create an organization, probably you already created one, so please click on Security and you will be redirected to admin.atlassian.com. On this URL you will see all the organizations that you are an admin and then you can verify a domain.
Please, let us know if you can see the organization through admin.atlassian.com.

Angélica

Hi Angélica,

Thank you for your feedback. I have succeeded to create an organization and I also succeeded to verify my domain 'e-llis.com' (Verification Type = DNS) in my organization.

Now when I go in the Jira Service Desk to my project > project settings > Summary > Notifications and change there the default email address jira@e-llis.atlassian.net to it@e-llis.com and select 'Update' then I get error message : 'DKIM validation failed for this domain'.

Do you know what I have to do in order to that atlassian can send email on behalf op it@e-llis.com?

Note : the it@e-llis.com mail address is also mentioned in my organization in the managed accounts.

Regards,

Peter

Hi Peter,

Now that the domain is verified, you must follow the steps provided in the documentation below in order to change the project email:

- Configuring Jira Cloud to send emails on behalf of your domain

Please, give a try and let us know how it goes.

Angélica
