Changes during the Confluence Backup

Pangianto Pang August 21, 2012

Hi all,

My confluence takes a long time to do backup, but during the backup the confluence still available for adding and editing page.

My question is how the confluence backing up while available for changes, does the changes are included in the back up?

Thanks.

Hello Panguin,

By default no, it takes a stall state of what you currently have, and will pursue the data of that. Usually it takes more time due attachments, but the content is done fairly fast.

I would before performing the backup, increase the memory a little, this speeds up the procees, and do it after hours, this takes a lot of CPU during the process.

Hope this helps you!

Cheers,

Guilherme
