Cannot enable 2 step authentication only for myself

I am following the instructions for enabling 2 step authentication. Now I want to test it for my own account before enabling it for all users.

How can I do that?

You can enable it via https://id.atlassian.com/manage/two-step-verification. This would only work for your account.

However, if you're referring to Atlassian Access 2FA which would affect all Atlassian Account associated with the verified domain, you would need to exclude all the accounts except yours, once it's enabled. It's a manual work and a bit tedious if you have a lot of accounts associated with the verified domain, but it would allow you to manage all accounts.
