Can we run Confluence and JIRA on multiple application servers?

David Weiss January 30, 2014

Is there any update on this question asked in 2012 and earlier? It's eventually going to become a show-stopper. Convert from self-hosting to cloud service? Thanks any and everyone!

Not really.

Confluence does a form of clustering and has done for a while, but it's not for redundancy or fail-over really. See https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Confluence+Clustering+Overview

Jira. No. End of story. But Atlassian are very much working on it and you can expect something in Summer - https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/JIRA+Blue+Label+Pioneer+Program+Outline
