Can I Delete Automatically Generated Wikis?

I created projects some of which I do not require Wikis for....can I safely delete them?

1 answer

Sure you can. Only note that you need to be a space administrator to delete a space. Within that, you'll need to do the following:

  1. Disassociate the project.
  2. Navigate to the space you wish to delete.
  3. Choose Browse > Space Admin.
Note: 'Space Admin' is displayed only if you are a space administrator for that space, or you are a super user (a member of the confluence-administrators group).
  4. Click Remove Space in the left panel under the heading 'Space Operations'.
  5. Click OK to confirm.

Also, note that once deleted, there is no way to restore a space unless you have made an XML Space Backup. Please, refer to this documentation for more info about 'deleting spaces'.
