select a date in table not sorting

If I create a table and use "//" Select a Date to enter dates

Sort Descending

Date
 
 
 
 

Sort Ascending

Date
 
 
 
 

The sort icon in the column does not sort in date format looks like sorting in alphanumeric - am I missing something?

Hi Phil,

I suspect you might bump into this bug https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-34002 which yet to be fix

Do comment in the bug report if you have any other concerns or question. As mentioned in our bug fixing policy Maintenance (bug fix) releases come out more frequently than major releases and attempt to target the most critical bugs affecting our customers.
