Edit Mode tool bar

While in edit mode I have a tool bar that has options Bold Italics etc which I fine. My colleague however has an additional tool bar to delete rows etc. We were set up as a copy of another profile but for the life of me I can't find how to access / activate this additional tool bar any help appreciated

Kevin, 

this sounds as if your colleague has the table editing menu visible whereas you do not. This menu is shown when you click into a table in edit mode, or when you insert a new table by clicking on the table icon (fourth from the right).
