Confluence 6.4.0 to 6.5.0 upgrade error question

Tried upgrade from Confluence 6.4.0 to 6.5.0 and it wouldn't even start so I reverted back to 6.4.0 and copied over the backups.  When I reverted it gave an error that the database build number (7502) didn't match the home directory build number.  Because of this error I ran the 6.5.0 upgrade again since 7502 is that build number.  This time it started but I received the same error.  Confluence will not start because the build number in the home directory [7400] doesn't match the build number in the database [7502].  Anyone know where to change the build number in the home directory or why the upgrade install didn't change it when ran?
