I know that incident investigation could work with gitlab/bitbucket but there is no mention about github or argocd.
On the other hand I saw that there are integrations with github and argocd, yet not sure if events from those will be also taken into consideration while trying to investigate incidents?
Regards,
Jonatan.
The Github integration does not include incident investigation. GitLab has a seperate integration for incident investigation. The Github integration includes the following functionality:
When a pull request is created in your repository in GitHub, it creates an alert in Opsgenie.
When an issue is created in your repository in GitHub, it creates an alert in Opsgenie.
When a push is made to your repository in GitHub, it creates an alert in Opsgenie.
When a pull request is closed in your repository in GitHub, it closes the alert in Opsgenie.
When an issue is closed in your repository in GitHub, it closes the alert in Opsgenie.
Thanks @John M for confirmation.
I guess same applies for ArgoCD integration (https://argo-cd.readthedocs.io/en/stable/operator-manual/notifications/services/opsgenie/), right?
Are there any plans for 'separate integration for incident investigation' in case of github/argocd - gitops in general?

That is correct - ArgoCD just uses a generic API integration.
I don't know if there are plans for 'separate integration for incident investigation' in case of github/argocd but at this point, nothing has been announced.
