What permissions are needed to edit a user name?

What permissions / role do I need to perform global edits?  My account has Admin role attached, but I can't edit another user's full name.  I've also tried being an owner, but no luck.  Is there a 'root' level or 'domain admin' role I need to perform any task?

Hi @Scott Wright

I'm not an OpsGenie user, but this page details how to update users.

It does mention:

Updating Other Users

Owners, admins, and users with edit configuration rights can update other users' login e-mails, profile details, and roles.

To update profile details, click the desired user to update. The Profile page of the clicked user opens. Update the login e-mail and profile details the same way as updating your own.

^ And to update the username, it mentions

Updating Username

  • To update your username, click the Change e-mail button at the end of your Login e-mail (Username).
  • Write the new desired e-mail address to set as your new login e-mail, and click OK.

So it looks like email is the username rather than full name, which is edited via the profile. Do these options not work for you?

hi, i am also interested in the answer to this question. i can not change the full name in the edit profile page - it has a greyed out/ not able to access. i can change the other values as address.

https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/docs/add-invite-update-and-delete-users/#Updating-Other-Users

here it appears i should be able to change it though.

any ideas?
