Using OpsGenie WebHook integration for Azure Monitor alerts originating from a LogAnalytics query

Hello Community!

Looking for anyone with experience in setting up Alerts from Azure monitor originating from a LogAnalytics query. Preferably using the payload created using the Azure Common Alert Schema. However a Custom Payload is also interesting.

I'm currently struggling getting data from Azure interpreted by OpsGenie. It appears that the AlertContext generated by Azure is not interpreted by any of the standard integrations in OpsGenie.

Perhaps this is a dead end, but I'm curious to hear if anyone here did get this to work or if I should resort to using the email-integration.

Hello Anders,

Welcome to the community, our Support Engineers are well versed at parsing custom payloads using our documented string processing methods. Our engineers will need to access the logs in your instance they will need to send you a link requesting permission to access your instance, this is best done via private communication, I would suggest starting a chat with one of our Support Engineers to facilitate the access request.   While on the Opsgenie webpage, there is a blue chat bubble located a the bottom right-hand side of the screen, if you start a chat a Support Engineer should respond within 3 minutes.

Here are some docs that you might find useful:
