We are trying to send a notification to the next person on call to let them know when their on-call schedule starts.
Is there anywhere we can configure the text of the notification that is sent?

It's not currently possible to edit the predefined Schedule Start / End notifications, but we have an open feature request for this functionality you can follow, watch and vote for here:
