Is there a way to create a weekly Slack alert that would show the OpsGenie on call schedule for the week?
Thank you!
Hi Yogev,
There is no way to directly send the on call schedule to slack but you can use the Webcal link to integrate with a shared Google Calendar or any other calendar that supports the Webcal format. Then you could link that shared calendar to slack to send updates automatically.
You would simply navigate to the schedule and click the calendar icon which will show your Webcal link; or if you are already signed into your calendar it should automatically import your Opsgenie schedule.
You can also get the on-call users at any time with the slack command '/genie whoisoncall' You can find a full list of slack commands under the 'Using /Genie Command' section in this article:

Got it, thanks!

Hi @Yogev Finegouz,
Just want to let you know too that we have a feature request OPSGENIE-365 On-call schedule changes notify via slack. Please feel free to up-vote the feature request as well add yourself as a Watcher so that you can be notified if there is any update.
Here is the Workaround from the feature request:
"Where available in the Integrations tab of the Channel or DM, Slack allows you to create an email address for a channel or DM.
In the User's Notification tab in Opsgenie, this Slack email can then be added as an additional email Contact Method which can then be used in any of the User's notification rules including Schedule Start."
Hope that helps!

Hi @Wei Wung I've followed this method however the notification appearing on slack is pretty generic and doesn't mention the name of the user on roster.
What I'm looking for is a notification with the user's name when their roster starts. Can this be achieved somehow via this workaround?
