I have a rotation with a custom rotation type and the shift length is set to 2 hours.
I have "Restrict to time intervals" set, and have created a series of shifts all 2-hours in length.
When I add participants to these shifts, however, a 1-hour shift is introduced that misaligns the entire rotation. I'm unable to figure out what is causing this issue.
The only idea I have is that the shifts I have spanning from 23:00 Sunday to 01:00 Monday are seen by Opsgenie as two shifts rather than one because the day of the week changes or because they span from one week to another.
Has anyone had a similar experience? I appreciate any advice for handling this situation.
Hi Andrew!
Could you share a screenshot of your rotation configuration? Click on the pencil icon next to the rotation -> Edit rotation, and share a screenshot of the settings for that rotation.
I am wondering whether it's related to the "start Time". You mentioned the rotation is restricted to certain intervals. So let's say the intervals 11pm-1am . If the Start time of the rotation was 12am, then I could see that interfering with the shift lengths, since the shifts start in the middle of that time interval.
Please share a screenshot of the rotation configuration and we can take a look!
Thanks,
Samir
