Hello,

I'm using Android and the app's version is 3.8.8.

I'm trying to configure OpsGenie to sent notifications with sounds besides the silent mode or do not disturbed, but when I'm going to Profile, Sound the option "Allow Opsgenie to set ringtone volume" is not available to configure.

For Opsgenie Android app version 3.8.8, the "Allow Opsgenie to set ringtone volume" option may not be available due to the version or Android OS restrictions. To ensure critical alerts bypass silent mode or Do Not Disturb (DND), please try the following:

  1. Check Notification Settings in Opsgenie:

    • Open the Opsgenie app.
    • Go to Profile > Sounds and confirm your notification preferences are properly configured.
  2. Grant DND Override Permissions:

    • On your Android device, go to Settings > Apps > Opsgenie > Notifications.
    • Look for options to allow notifications to override DND and make sure this is enabled.
  3. Device and OS Compatibility:

    • Some features, such as ringtone volume control, might depend on Android OS version or device-specific restrictions. If the option isn’t available in version 3.8.8, upgrading to a newer app version might resolve the issue once it’s released.

Sorry for the delay to respond.

All the settings informed are right, but the option is still unavailable, so I need to insist a bit more.

I'm using S22 from Samsung, Android 14, and OpsGenie is installed at the Work Profile.

Can you dig for more information?
