Opsgenie and Zabbix

Is it possible to integrate Opsgenie Cloud with Zabbix in on-prem version ?

Hi @Louis_DaCosta ,

If you are asking if Opsgenie can communicate with Zabbix / send Opsgenie alert actions back to the Zabbix alert - then yes - that should be possible.

Opsgenie has an OEC plugin which would most likely be needed. OEC is a lightweight app used to communicate with external systems that are not accessible from the public internet.

Absolutely. It works great.

There are two variants on how to do it however. The original way is documented

Later on Zabbix added a "native" integration. 

https://www.zabbix.com/integrations/opsgenie

 

I prefer the earlier method as I was able to do a little more customization. But the Native one is probably a little easier to set up.
